Integration Engine Sync Error

    Integration Engine Sync Error

    Method has not been syncing with QB desktop 2015 for several days. The integration engine says that it is connected, and it runs through the process, but it displays this message and the sync preferences don't show that a sync has been performed:

    Hi Smwarren,

    There are a few things this one could be so we might need to do some investigation to narrow it down. Firstly, are you recieving any Conflicts in your Account that might point us in the right direction?

    You can find the conflicts list in Method under the QuickBooks tab > Resolve Conflicts

    There was this message on Monday. I did a verify and rebuild but it didn't resolve the problem, although this message hasn't returned:

    There was an issue with the sync. Try doing a File > Utilities > Verifiy and Rebuild in QuickBooks, and trying again. Also, make sure QuickBooks has all updates installed. If this persists, contact technical support.
    Now for the technical stuff! QuickBooks SDK response was: Insufficient permission level to perform this action.
    The request was: <?xml version="1.0" ?> <?qbxml version="13.0"?> <QBXML> <QBXMLMsgsRq onError = "stopOnError"> <TimeTrackingQueryRq requestID = "0"> <ModifiedDateRangeFilter><FromModifiedDate>2016-06-20T14:05:25-08:00</FromModifiedDate></ModifiedDateRangeFilter> <IncludeRetElement>TxnID</IncludeRetElement> <IncludeRetElement>TimeModified</IncludeRetElement> <IncludeRetElement>TxnDate</IncludeRetElement> </TimeTrackingQueryRq> </QBXMLMsgsRq> </QBXML>

    Also, I watched while the Integration Engine did a full sync and the error happens when it is syncing the invoices table.

    So the Above Conflict occurs when you are signing into QuickBooks as a non-admin user when the sync tried to take place. Are you able to verify you have administrative permissions on the QuickBooks side?

    Sync issues are a little difficult to diagnose over a forum post, its probably best we jump on a screenshare and take a look on your end. Would you be able to email me your details so I can have a representative reach out?

    So it miraculously healed itself while I was preparing to send you my info. I guess it didn't want you poking around. :)


    Thanks for your help and we'll probably never know why it happened (I was signed into QB as admin, BTW, so it wasn't that)
