Glad you figured out the opportunity issue.
Posting a link is really simple. Anywhere you have a field that is set
to display the html editor (like the comments on the activities screen)
you can paste in a link.

The secure server option sounds doable, I am just missing how to post a
link on Method and have it link with my server. While I have you here,
when I go to add a opportunity, I get a error message telling me that
"customerref" field must be present and filled out. I can't find that
field to save my life.
