I realized it shows all of the customers to each person.  But if a rep is only assigned certain customers, is there a way to only show those customers?

Go into the customer grid options in the Edit screen and add the following to the default filter (or create  new one for yourself)

pdirect - RuggedNotebooks is bang on.  The only thing I'll add is that you need to make sure that the User is assigned an Employee/Vendor. Do do this, go to Customize > Users, edit the user, and make sure that in Step1 there is an employee or vendor chosen for this user, and that this employee is specified as a sales rep in QuickBooks.
