    Editing user password problem

I was trying to edit my origional user account to link it to a Quickbooks employee. In order to save that change I was requirred to reenter (or change) my password. When I enter the same password I had before I get an error saying:

Password Failed: Password must contain at least 1 character(s), such as '!'

When I created the origional password I only needed alpha/numeric, why do I need to include an additonal character now?

    Re: Editing user password problem

    Hi Matt,

The reason you’re getting the message is because of the user password preferences in your Method account. If you click Customize and then My Account you’ll see the options to set password requirements for new users. We included some default settings to help enforce strong passwords for any additional users. This helps keep your account secure but also affects your own user account the next time you make changes under the Users screen. Take a look at the options and decide what’s best in your case.

    Hope that helps,
