Outlook Integration Not Working

    Outlook Integration Not Working

    I have installed the latest version of the Outlook Integration plugin on a Windows 7 computer running Outlook 2010.  When I open an appt. time slot in Outlook and click the add to method button and go through the steps to create an activity, the method tags do not show up in Outlook like they do in Webinar 23 at approx. the 33:40 point. 

    And when I save the appt. in outlook and reopen it, there is no "appointment details" when I click on that button. 

    Update: This same problem is also happening on a Vista machine running Outlook 2007.

    pdirect,

    I went through the exact steps laid out in the webinar and it worked for me. I right-clicked on an appointment slot in Outlook and clicked New Appointment and then clicked Add to Method. I filled out the information in the window that came up and clicked Add to Method.  You should see the Method tags added in real time. I am using Outlook 2007 on a Window Vista machine.

    What good is it if it works for you but not for me an any computer with any version of outlook?  I just tried it again and again, no method tags.  I followed your simple instructions flawlessly ... but still don't see the method tags.

    Pdirect,

    If you go click the Method Setup button in Outlook and go to the Appointment Details tab what do you have selected for the Body Format? If there is nothing selected that may be the cause of the issue.

    Yes, you are right.  It is set to none.  Although this should not be the default when it's installed.  Everything should be selected and then I can change it to none if I want.  Now I need to go back and correct this on all the machines where I've already installed the Outlook integration plugin.

    I will also add that even though I set the subject to "Comments", the comments don't show up as the subject line.

     This looks like it may be a bug and since this Outlook plugin is still in beta I am moving this to the appropriate forum.
