Is there a way to add "delayed charges" to Method?

"Delayed charges" is a feature we use on QuickBooks Online.  This enables us to have techs put in "charges", similar to the time tracking charges, and for us to send out bills once a month with all the charges that have accumulated.

Is there a way to add a "charge" through a Method screen?  This would greatly help automate our business process.

    Nathan-

Third party apps such as Method currently do not have access to Charges created in QBO but once Intuit opens that feature up to third party apps i'm sure we will add it to Method.

    Nathan-

One idea might be to use the Method Scheduing & Invoiving app. You can create Work Orders and then Invoice them at the end of a period.

    Answer

    Nathan,

I have lawn mowing clients that call me when to mow the lawn. When the work order is created i enter a charge and then i put that work order in the waiting list till they call again.  When they call again i open up that work order...insert a new charge. At the end of the month i close that work order, it prints out that invoice based on that work order with all the charges the racked up for the month.   By putting that work order in the waiting list, a tech could open up that work order from their PDA insert the charges and then put that work order back in the waiting list.

Its somthing we do here all the time.

    Good luck,

    Answer

    John and Michael,

Thanks for the help.  Too bad quickbooks does not support this functionality yet.  I will look into the Method Scheduling & Invoicing app to cover our needs.
