Hi nathersteiner,

To find out which invoice screen is active, you need to do the following:

1. Go to Customize > Tabs

2. Locate Customers

3. Click on Edit Tab Links

4. Look at the Tab Link Name for Invoices

5. Beside it, you have an associated screen

6. You will then be able to see which invoice screen belongs to that link

7. If it is the wrong screen, then you can select the screen that you would like this link to open

For the second part of your question, I have some questions:

1. Are you referring to the “Tax” checkbox at the line item level on an invoice? This check will sync with Methods invoice and automatically place the “Tax” selection on that line.

2. Are you referring to the checkbox for “The customer is taxable” for the customer? This will place the “Tax” selection within the Sales Tax Information dropdown.

If you can give me that information, that would help me direct you to the solution.

We customized our invoice and now I have 4 versions. How do I find which one is active? Second thing is that my invoices show that there is tax (box is checked on reports) we are non taxable. this shows up in quickbooks online> how do i remove this auto chekmark?
