I just tested it again and it worked. Maybe its the filename or file type for the image. Is there any special characters in the name of the image?

Also make sure that you have the right template selected.

I have done as you said. I clicked on >, then ..., then selected an image from my C: drive. The image appears in the Report Designer. I see the image when I preview within Report Designer. I saved, then I used my Method CRM account to see the live report in print preview. No image!

Am I doing something wrong?

I came up with a solution, it may not be the best solution but it works pretty well.

Create a calculated field in the report (Report click on the table in the field list to do this)
Create an expression to determine if there date is blank I used the following in my test
[ServiceDate] == ' ' or [ServiceDate] == ?
Set the expression to be a Boolean value which should give you a True for any blanks dates.
Sort the report first by your calculated field and then by the date.

If you need further help on this I would suggest booking some paid consulting but theses steps should be pretty decent to get you going.

Does the image have to always be off your harddrive? You can actually save the image to the report.

When you drag an image object onto the report select it and click the > that should appear, click ... for Image and select an image.

Report Designer and Images

I am using Report Designer to customize a print preview form. I want to use an image other than the logo image defined on the Change Display Settings screen under the Customize tab. I placed a picture box on the form. I find I am able to enter an Image URL, pointing at an image on my local hard drive. The shows up in the Report Designer, both the Designer tab and the Preview tab. However, the live version of the form cannot access my hard drive for the image.

Is the logo image the only image on the Method website that I can use in my form? Does Method allow me to upload other images for use with the Report Designer? Is yes, how is that accomplished?
