If you edit a single occurence, you will only edit that particular activity. Take a look at the filter views on the Activities List grid. You will see for example an option to view My Series, and a seperate option to view My Occurences. If you only intend to edit a single occurence, make sure you are actually editing an occurence, and not the entire series. Hope this helps!

I have been using Method in my own business so I could recommend it to my clients. but this and many other issues seem to be so quirky that I am wondering if this is a good solution. I will address the other issues separately once we get this one resolved.

Re: Recurring Events

Hi lpierpont,

Are you looking at an original screen or are you looking at a customized screen?

If it is an original screen, when you select an activity from the gird, it will open an individual acitivty. When you finish that activity, you need to make sure that you change the Status of the activity to completed above the area where you type in the comments.

On the original activity that you set the recurring activities, in the area that has the checkmark for Recurring, there is a checkbox in the grid on the row that describes the column (Due Start Date, Due Date End, Assigned To, and Activity Status).

If you place a checkmark on that row, it will place a checkmark on all future recurring activities. Once those activities are checked, and the “Activity Status” is modified on the topmost activity to the status of Completed as an example, when you click on the Update link, that will automatically change the statuses for the future activities to the exact same status of Completed.

I hope that helps.

Ronen

How can we fix this?
