BatesCoughtryReissLLP is the account name. I beleive I am following your instructions but not getting those results. If you could look at the account I'd appreciate it.

Hey Pamela,

So you are creating a new assembly item. Filling in the required field and then saving the screen. After you save it you should be able to click on the Bill of Materials tab. Once on this tab if you click new, the grid should open up. Add 2 items to the list and then hit update. The grid should save and display the 2 items you have added.

Are these the steps you are taking when adding line items to the BOM?

Can you tell me your account name also, I will check to see that the new screens made it to your account.

I just tried it and I'm able to add a line to the BOM but when I click Update the newly added line disappears & I'm left with the BOM as created originally in QB. What am I missing? Thanks!

Hey Pamela,

Our developers have pushed this update to everyone, you should be able to add line items to the BOM now.

I'm having dificutly adding lines to the Bill of Materials. I added a tab and copied the Item Screen from the Full Blown Version onto it. It lets me add items but won't allow me to add lines to the BOM. (It is another assembly I'm attempting to add in a fractional quantitiy to the BOM if that matters.)

What am I doing wrong? any comments.
