Hi viret56,

In page A you have to make sure that on the button object, you have the action Go To Tab Link to direct you to the tab link of page B. That action will allow you to specify in the Tab Link dropdown which tab link you want the button to direct you to.

After you get directed to that tab link, page B will be reloaded with the updated information.

We have created a work flow for our account managers where they create an opportunity, but do not fill in an amount. On the opportunity screen we have added a 'Save & Create Estimate' button, which takes them to the Estimate screen and fills in fields based on the opportunity. When the account manager saves the estimate, we update the amount and the expected revenue of the opportunity in the database. When the account manager returns to the opportunity tab, we would like the updated values to be updated without having to manually reload the page.

Is that possible they way we are doing this?

Can you be more specific in what you are trying to achieve by these actions? What type of screens are you trying to relate to each other?

Is it possible, through actions, to force another screen (tab link) to reload? For example, on page A database values are updated that affect the display of page B. Can an action from page A cause page B to be refreshed so the new values are already displayed when the tab is selected?
