Thanks for asking here, I think a few other users would like to see this reply. You need to start with making a copy of the CRM_ActivitiesList screen.

Click the Customize > then Screens tab link
Scroll down or use the screen name filter to look for the CRM_ActivitiesList. When you rollover this screen you should see a copy button. Click copy.
On step 1, you're copying the screen from This Account.
On step 2, give your screen a new name like "Activities with Email".
On step 3, click Add a Tab Link and put your new screen on the Activities tab.
After the copy has finished, highlight your new Activities with Email screen and click Edit.
In the screen designer, find the Activity Grid and click edit.
Click Next and on step 2 you want select the field EmailBody and click Insert Column.
Click Finish.
Click Publish and wait for the screen to finish publishing here.
Click the Activity tab then click into your new tab to review the changes.

Following the above step will allow you to see the Email Body in the grid view for this screen.

The Activities table is a nice summary of chronological contacts with a lead or customer. But if an activity is an email, I want to see at least a few lines of the email text content - so I can quickly review what we have been talking about. As it is now, Method makes you click and open the email, going to a new screen. Not useful.

Can we customize to put the email text in the comment field or use a different field for this?
