Josh,

Can you please clarify what you mean by 'join type' and 'right outer join'? Try the following and let me know what you find.

1.    Click on the Detail Report band.
2.    On the right hand side under ‘Property Grid’ what’s currently listed for ‘Data Member’?
3.    It sounds like you should see ‘Customer..CartInformation.Customer’
4.    Try to edit the Data Member by selecting the proper table using the dropdown.
5.    Click Tab on the keyboard.
6.    Preview the report.

Join Types with Report Designer

I am trying to create a report that will list all the parts that belong to a customer, but it's only showing 1 item per customer. Is there a way to specify the join type. i would like to use a right outer join so it will show all the items by a customer.

My master table is "Customer" and my Detail table is "CartInformation" with a linked field by CustomerName. I think its similar to Danny's Report Guru Webinar, but its not giving all the information.
