Sounds good! Normally changing the tab name wouldn't create a problem but in this case it's causing some actions to break. If you change the tab name in other sections, and get a similar message, you know how to resolve it now. Sorry for the inconvenience here.

The only solution I have for you right now is to change the tab name back to what it was, Customers. I'm not sure what the issue is but it looks like changing that tab name is a problem. I'll dig into this deeper but in the meantime please change the tab name.

Dottie,

I suspect you're getting this message because you removed the Invoices tab link from your Customer and Jobs tab. To add this back and correct the problem follow these steps:

Click Customize > Tabs and click Edit Tab Links... beside the Customers and Jobs tab.
Where is says Open Screen select screen QuickBooks_Invoice (or if you're using a custom invoice screen select it) then give it the Tab Link name of Invoices
Click Finished Editing Tab Links.

Basically the error message is saying I can't find the Tab Link for 'Invoices' under the Customer and Jobs tab. If you wanted to dig into this error on your own look at the action sequence (order #3) that caused this error and it's definitely a GoTo Tab Link action pointing to a non-existant tab link.

If this doesn't correct the problem post back and I can help you further.

I am trying to create an invoice in the edit customer section. When I click new transaction then Invoice. I receive an error message that says

Could not run the 'Go To Tab Link' command, as there was a problem locating the Tab Link 'Invoices'. This Tab Link may have been deleted, or if you copied the original Screen from another account, you may also need to copy the Screen this Tab Link 'Invoices' belongs to as well.
