Edit: We don't recommend that users import screens from QuickBooks Desktop(QBD) to QuickBooks Online(QBO). When you import the screens from QBD to QBO, or vice versa, the fields are also copied from that account into the new Method account. That means a QBO user is going to get QBD fields added which causes a mess and added confusion for the user. You will be able to import custom screens from your Method for QuickBooks Desktop account but there is fuctionality in QuickBooks Desktop that doesn't exist in QuickBooks Online. Even if the screen exists in both versions, the screen which you import from your original Method account may not function as required depending on what data is displayed and the types of actions being performed. Another thing to take into consideration is that the table's associated with those screens will be imported as well but will not retain the data held within them unless you edit each table and enable "Copying between other Method accounts". Remember, you will first need to create a new Method account for QuickBooks Online.

If i want to move from qb desktop to qb online, would i still have to start from scratch with Method with all my custom work?
