Hi VARC_Annette,

What you're looking for is going to include some pretty involved customization. One way I'm thinking about accomplishing this is by customizing or creating a new table and use your own custom screen, but to limit some items from view for certain employees would take you quite some time, plus you can potentially mess up data in the table you customize. I would strongly recommend you watch the Customization Webinars on our website first before attempting any customization. You should also think about speaking with a Consultant, even if for only 30 minutes, to figure out the best way of going through with this and how you would want everything to work once the customization is complete.

Item List permission question

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to limit what items a sales person can see in the item list in Method?

Maybe a field to use in Method like "Type" or something similar and sales person A can see type "ABC" only and sales person B can see everything.

Just a thought - if there is another way, or an easier way - I just need to see if it can be made to work please.
