I wouldn't necessarily use the text change event, you don't have to create those actions within your object. You can use other objects or even the screen events themselves, i.e. OnScreenLoad.

Ashur,

I have created a text change event with a retrieve from table action but nothing is being displayed...

Current settings:

From Table: Customer

From Field: Email

Where Field: Email

value is: Value From Row

Place value in: Value In Screen

EMailDisplay (my textbox object)

I'm still not certain how the 'How will this record be located?' values are effecting the output.

Let me add on to my previous post, this will just add the customer email address to a field on your screen and will not actually update the email value in the customer table unless you add actions to do so.

Hi andy,

You can easily do this by utilizing the Retrieve value from table and Enter value into field on screen actions.

I am editing a mobile screen generated from the customers screen. At the moment the customer email address is displayed on the 'Details' tab. I would like to also display the email on the address tab. What is the easiest way to accomplish this?
