This will only help when printing or emailing invoices; so when viewing the data in Method you will still see it as it is received from QuickBooks. In order to edit any templates you would first need to download and install the Method Report Designer.

Helpful tip - When editing a template always remember to save it as a different name so that if you make a mistake you can always go back and open the original template again. If you don't do this and make a mistake on one of your stock templates, it will be a tedious process to restore the original and will actually be considered a chargeable Consulting session.

Open the customer record in QuickBooks and you'll notice that everything is uppercase, however, if you click Edit under the Bill To or Ship To text boxes, you'll see the address shows the first letter being capitalized while the others are all lower case. This is the field which is linked to Method and explains why the letter casing changes after the sync. If you try to capitalize all the letters in this field and save it'll revert back to it's original case formating. So this may not actually be an issue.

I am entering a country as AUSTRALIA, but when I go back to look at it the country has been forced back to Mixed Case.

This is on the default (non-modified) Method customer screen.

Shouldn’t the case stay how I enter it?

Hi Darryl,

I was able to replicate this on my end as well so I'll be submitting a ticket for our team to look into it. What version of QuickBooks are you running and by any chance did you just recently receive an update for it? You can find out what version you're running by launching QuickBooks, then when it starts press F2 on your keyboard to open the Product Information window, the first line will hold the information I need.
