&lt;p&gt;That&amp;#39;s a good question but a very hard one to answer. You can setup QB and the Method Sync Engine on a server computer that runs other applications and tasks as well, however, performance may vary depending on the amount of computer resources being used. You can test it out on that system for a week or so and monitor the performace of all applications and tasks running. That will help you make your judgement call on whether you believe this would be the best solution for your organization. Check out the article Mark posted, this is an incredibly useful resource for organizations who decide to install QB and Method on a server environment.&lt;/p&gt;

This houses our Quickbooks &lt;span style="overflow:hidden;" id="mce_6_start"&gt;company file and also serves as our Windows domain controller, houses some shared files, and runs &lt;span style="overflow:hidden;" id="mce_8_start"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;SQL Server &lt;/span&gt;(used for a few different things). Does this sound reasonable?
