&lt;p&gt;The function behaves the same for both leads and customers so I&amp;#39;m not sure why the user didn&amp;#39;t receive an email notification. If not then I would recommend you check your email server settings/contact your hosting provider. I just created a test opportunity and selected bot&lt;span id="mce_12_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;h the email notification options, one for the opportunity, and one for the &lt;span id="mce_19_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;activity&lt;/span&gt;. Both emails were received in about 1 minute. The opportunity did not appear for the activity assignee nor was an email generated (even though the email box was checked. Does an opportunity/lead to b&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;" id="mce_2_start"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;e converted to a customer for the normal activity assignment&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;" id="mce_3_start"&gt;&lt;/span&gt; to work or&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;" id="mce_4_start"&gt; was did we do something wrong.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;" id="mce_4_start"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Activity assignments for customers seems to work fine.&lt;/p&gt;
