Unfortunately there is no way to switch from Method for QBO to Method for QB Desktop, mainly due to the differences in table structure between both versions. The quickest way would be to sign up for a new Method account and link it with your QuickBooks Desktop company file.

I have decided to continue using my QuickBooks Desktop as QuickBooks Online does not support multiple currencies.

How do I delete my intergration with QuickBooks Online and intergrate it with QuickBooks Desktop? Thank you.
