You can make a copy of the SchedInv_WorkOrderList screen and reverse engineer the Copy Selected event of the More Actions... button. Then reverse engineer the Copy Work Orders button on the SchedInv_CopyWorkOrder screen. You can definitely accomplish what you're looking for by breaking those buttons down and seeing how they work; take a look at this post as it was in regard to a similar request. Essentially what you'll want to do is assign the values of all the necessary fields on the screen to an action result then insert a new row into the Estimate table. Finally, set the new estimate as the screens active Record ID so you can change whatever information you desire, i.e. Customer. This isn't an incredibly difficult customization but will be tricky for a beginner.

If you would like to speak with one of our in-house Consultants let me know and I'll get the ball rolling. Alternatively you can always speak with a Method Solutions Provider.

I'm looking to copy the information from an estimate, having saved the old one but keeping the items and quantities in tact for another, very similar estimate. Can I add a button to the estimate screen? If so, what would the actions be?
