&lt;p&gt;How exactly is this affecting your billing? Do you mean that it&amp;#39;s causing confusion for your staff as they&amp;#39;re unsure which items to select?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Am I correct to assume that this came up sometime after you performed a Verify and Rebuild on your QuickBooks file. I&amp;#39;ve seen strange scenarios with item duplication/ListID&amp;#39;s changing after a QuickBooks Verify and Rebuild. However, I&amp;#39;m not sure if this is what actually happened in your case. Do you have any Item conflicts that show up on your &lt;span id="mce_2_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Resolve Conflicts&lt;span id="mce_2_end" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; screen?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Since there aren&amp;#39;t any prices associated with the duplicate items and you don&amp;#39;t use them, then you should just delete them. &lt;span id="mce_4_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Go to Customize &amp;gt; Screens &amp;gt;&lt;span id="mce_4_end" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; search for and View the &lt;span id="mce_6_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Item List&lt;span id="mce_6_end" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt; screen &amp;gt; then delete the items you don&amp;#39;t need.&lt;/p&gt;

In our quickbooks we have part#s with dashes in method it shows a part number with dashes and another one without?&amp;nbsp; the ones without dashes have no prices, the ones with ( which are in our qbooks) have prices&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
