&lt;p&gt;&lt;span id="mce_0_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;Have you&amp;nbsp;&lt;span id="mce_1_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;checked QuickBooks to see if there&amp;#39;s something that needs your attention? &amp;nbsp;Usually when I see that message its because the Method Integration Engine certificate hasn&amp;#39;t been set or there&amp;#39;s something that needs to be set before the connection continues.&lt;span id="mce_2_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt; &amp;nbsp;Check to see if there&amp;#39;s something flashing on your taskbar. &amp;nbsp;&lt;span id="mce_3_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;Something else to consider is any firewall that might be blocking the sync engine. &amp;nbsp;If you have a firewall (I believe Norton comes with Windows 8), disable it and see if the sync will start.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have changed computers to new windows 8 64x. I have installed quickbooks again and method sync with listner and gives me &lt;br /&gt;Method PUSH status:&amp;nbsp; awaiting secure https connection constantly. I have tried resetting the computer to sync with in the quickbooks sync settings but to no avail.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is there anything I am missing?&lt;/p&gt;
