Another option you have available is restrict the access to execute that button (Delete) from particular Roles. For example, if you don't want the Staff role to be able to see that button, you can remove their ability to view it. And if you decide that only the Administrator and Director roles should be able to delete records, you can remove the ability to execute it for all other roles besides Administrator and Director.

This can easily be done by making a copy of the screen and editing that particular button object on the screen, e.g. More actions...

Would you want to remove this button from all users, including the Master Administrator, or only specific users?

You would need make a copy of, then edit, each one of the screens that has this functionality (pretty much every screen that creates new records). However, if you want to limit it from particular users, you'll need to perform some extra customization.

Could someone please provide the instructions on how to disable the delete function? When in Activities, or any other tab where one can create anything "new," at the bottom right, there is a pull down box that says "more". Within that, a user has the ability to delete anything they create. I need to disable this. Please advise. Thank you!!
