&lt;p&gt;In order to be able to attach a document to a specific activity you would have needed to add an &lt;span id="mce_2_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;em&gt;Attachment&lt;span id="mce_2_end" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/em&gt; field to the &lt;strong&gt;Activity&lt;/strong&gt; table. Which is why you&amp;#39;re seeing all that &amp;quot;junk&amp;quot; data. That&amp;#39;s actually how the actual document is stored in the table.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So to get around this, do not include the attachment field when exporting your Activity table. Hope this helps!&lt;span id="mce_5_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

But now when I export the results of the activity table there&amp;#39;s a lot of junk in some rows of the CSV file, and I believe it has to do with the PDFs being attached to the activities.&lt;span id="mce_0_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What do I need to do to attach documents to activities but still&amp;nbsp;&lt;span id="mce_1_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;be able to use the data from the Activities table.
