Hello,
     Have you added the field to the table? I believe you have dragged over a plain texbox and not a field. When you save, the data has nowhere to go.

     To add a field to a table, go to Customize -> Tables / Fields and click on the Activity table. (This is the table used in Work Orders). Select 'Add a New Field' and put in a name for the field. Select 'Text' for Field Type and you can keep the size to 255 for now. Click 'Add Field' then 'Finished Editing Fields'. Now the field is available in the screen designer. Refresh the screen designer, find the field and drag it over.

    There is no way to add custom fields and information to the Google Calendar. The Job Name is the description that goes into the Google Gadget. The saying is that the Gadget is configurable but not customizable. You will have to put the site manager's details in the Job Name field.

So I want to add a text box to my "Add/Edit Work Orders" screen, above the "Job Name" Field under The "Customer" Dropdown. I need this text box to add a name and phone number for our field technicians to be able to contact the site manager or point of contact on site for that specific day/job. I have customized the screen and added the text box where i want it but when we populate the field with a name and phone number, then save the screen, then reopen the work order; the information entered is gone and doesnt save. I need this information to be saved i would also like this field to be sent out to our technicans and viewable via their google calendar.

Any insight about this issue or instructions on how to handle it would be great.
