Hello Justin,

This didn't help. It still only exports the columns I listed in my original post. It doesn't include the columns that I'm currently viewing in the grid. And, just so you know, I've tried this in Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer - just in case one browser was better supported than another.

I'd assumed that the purpose of the 'export grid to Excel' action was to be able to customize a view for a grid and then export those rows/columns to excel (as a report of sorts). Am I trying to do something that this action is not intended to do?

Hi Nathan,

In the settings for the "Export Grid to Excel" action there should be a checkbox for Only select rows that are checked. Checking this checkbox should accomplish what you're trying to do. Check the Remove HTML tags checkbox also if you haven't already, it'll remove formatting tags from the Excel sheet.

Hello Justin,

If I export all of our contacts, it includes those that are Lead Status only, as well as a bunch of dummy contacts we created in testing various other features of Method. Plus, by exporting a grid I'm hoping to be able to apply some View Filters to make sure I'm only exporting the contacts I want.

Is the 'Export Grid to Excel' action not intended to export a grid that has a View Filter applied?

Hi NathanInTexas,

Did you just want to export the entire Contacts table? You can do this from the Import/Export menu under Customize > Integration Tools. Is there a particular reason you need it done through a custom screen?

Grid Export is not including all columns

I'm trying to export the Contacts Grid. I have a button whose only action is to export the Contacts Grid to Excel (all columns, not just the checked ones).

I have a custom 'Customer Address Info' view of the Contacts Grid that displays various address/contact information fields.

Even though I'm looking at this 'Customer Address Info' View, when I Export the Grid to Excel, it only exports the fields associated with the 'Shared Active Customer Contacts' view:(Rep/Type/Title, Contact/Customer/Company, Phone/Email/Mobile, Tags, Balance, Last Activity, Next Activity).

Any direction on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.
