Hello Robert,

To attach documents to emails, it would have to be uploaded to your Method account. This allows Method a physical file to attach to the email. You can load documents into emails, but they will always go into the document library. You can have the interface in the background deal with the document library so users would never have to deal with it.

To attach documents to emails, you need to have the Attachment Location filled out in the Send Email action.

I want to allow users to attach any document on their computer to emails generated by Method, not just documents in the DocumentLibrary.

Hello Robert,

You need to customize your screen in order to have an attachment field. Currently the only way to attach a file to an outgoing email in Method is to create a screen based off the Document Library table, and even then it's a little tricky. There's no way to implement this on any screen that allows you to send email by default. You'll have to end up creating your own Customized screen.

Using the standard New Activity screen, how do we add an attachment to our emails from there? Do we have to use the Google Gadget to handle attachments? Thanks.
