We don't seem to have the dispatch functionality currently on Method? Do we need to get this activated? If yes, what is the cost and can we test it out before getting it.

Answer:

You can find this feature under the Send / Map Xora Jobs screen in Method. Once you have successfully mapped Job/Customers in Method, you have the option to send these jobs to Xora. This will allow the mobile phone users to download the jobs and complete them.

Xora has a dispatch function which we use to dispatch field staff to jobs.
Eg, Person X, Y and Z to Job 5 from 7a to 3p on Thursday 3/25.

Question- can method somehow pull in dispatched times from Xora and push
them into quickbooks timecard? (instead of the clocked in/out times)

Answer:

The purpose of our connector is to fetch time records from Xora. However, since the option to “dispatch” jobs from Method and have them send to Xora already exists, we can customize this to have Method send the equivalent in time to the weekly time sheet in QB. This will only work if you send the job through Method and will not consider any dispatches done through xora.com.
