It may be one of the action results that is not set correctly. You will have to find where they are set and see if they are being generated correctly. Also, compare the URL you receive from the email (what's in the URL bar when you get the error?) and the URL when you open the transaction. What is the difference? I would not post the URL in the forums. If you like, you can email me them to my email below and I can take a quick look.

Greg

Re: Sales order in Method?

Ok I made some headway and got the save and email button working on Sales Orders screen. Only issue I am having is that whith the portal url. I am not sure what fields to use to bring the customer to the actual Sales Order transaction. I copied most of the button actions from Invoice and Estimates. The customer can log in to the portal but they get this message:

The record you are trying to load does not exist, or you do not have permission to view it.

However if you click on "Goto" right next to the Sales order it will show the PDF....so I think I am doing something incorrectly w/ the portal URL

Here is what I have currently...seems to be the same for both Invoice and Estimate...would that also hold true for Sales Order?

However - is it possible to email Sales Orders in the same fashion I can email invoices and estimates? There is a check box for "to be emailed" but no "Save & Email" button. I looked at the button in the Customize Screens for the Estimates, and there are a whole bunch of actions associated with it. Is there a simple way to copy that over to the "Save & Email" button I'd like to add to Sales Orders, or does it all have to be manually entered?

Re: Sales order in Method?

Hello industrialrobotix,
