Since this would be a many-to-many relationship, you would have to create a table to detail the relationship. I would most likely create an "AssignedTo" table with two dropdowns, one for Vendor (linked to the Vendor table) and one for User (linked to the User table). You could then enter the relationships into the table, and use that table to filter your Vendor List.

Hope this helps.

Currently, I'm looking for a way to control permissions on a per vendor basis instead of "X user has access to vendors, and everything in vendors".

The main reasoning behind this is our high end scrap clientel is very important to us and I do not want employees or anyone else having access to this data by "accident".

If I could control access on a per vendor basis this would solve my problem without having to create a duplicate vendors tab then control permissions from there.

I would much rather still have google gadget functionality then in method control who has access to that vendor on a per vendor basis.

Has anyone ever tried to do anything similar to this?

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
