I appreciate the help, but it seems that something significant happened since the new login change occurred. Not sure if it is related, but I had tested these screens and they were working before the change, now they aren't.

Did your staff make a change that would have impacted my custom screens?

I switched it back to the original New Case screen and it worked. I can rebuild my custom screens, but I would hate to spend the time only to have it crash again because of something outside of my control.

Thanks,

If you're calling another action set, why not try triggering that action set directly? Click on your Save button and take a look at the number in the error you get, then check your Save button's action set for that action.

If you don't get an error with your Save button, then it's safe to rule that out in your troubleshooting process. At that point, you may just want to step through the other actions in your Save & Close button one by one to look for the offending Text field.

Hope this helps.

Here is the main error message: "Insert Records Into Table Failed. A Text field from the screen was not found. Please edit your actions to ensure the field exists. If you continue to experience issues please regenerate the screen."

I was clicking on the Save and Close button. There is NO action sequence 26 for this button. The button does call the "Save" action, which does have an action sequence 26, but this is for the Client_ID, which isn't even a field on the screen.

How does it track the action sequence number?

I have to get this resolved so my staff can start using this function.

Thanks,

Action Sequence errors point to the action causing the issue, so in this case the 26th action in the sequence seems to be causing the problem. You'll want to take a look at the 26th action on whichever button / event you're using to trigger the action set.

Hope this helps.

I have made modifications to our New Case form. I thought it was working fine, but when we go to add a new lead as part of the new case, we receive an Action Sequence 26 error, saying a text box is missing from the screen. I did remove the M.I. text box, and perhaps the Pager box. Are these required for the screen to work? If so, that would be great to know in advance, before I start removing those fields.

How do I find out what the actual error is? Exactly which field is missing? And, how do I add it back? This cryptic message really isn't pointing me in the write direction.

Your help is appreciated... Thanks.
