I would like to see a webinar about the mapping portion of QXO.

Topic: Optimize route and route list

Scenario: I click on mapping and optimize my customer route. Now I go to my route list under work order list and print my route list. How do I get the route list printed there to print the customers in the optimized order?

Scenario: You’ve done a seminar called “Take QuickBooks into the Cloud”. At this seminar you received an opportunity. A sales manager at the seminar is excited about your product and wants his sales team to see a demo and provide customization input but they can’t do it all at one time. So, he asks you to do series of demos at 9:00 am on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week.

In Method, you create a new opportunity and a new activity with 3 occurrences for next week’s demos. On Friday, the sales manager calls and asks if you can reschedule Wednesday’s demo for 1:00 pm instead of 9:00 am. So, you simply change it in Method. Now, this sales manger keeps calling and making changes. Maybe adding additional demos, canceling demos, etc.

Now when you look at your Calendar for next week, you see some new symbols and you’re not sure what they mean.
When you look at your list of activities there are more than 3 activities associated with these demo meetings. What happens if you delete one of them? Which one do you change?
When you’re looking at your calendar there is a drop down menu. When do you use edit vs. edit series? When you edit series you notice that no changes are occurring to activities with ghost buster symbols. Is this always true?
In the recurring info tab on the edit activity screen when should you edit directly in the grid?

In summary: this webinar primarily covers managing changes to recurring activities with an explanation of what the behind the scenes actions are.

This example could just as easily be a recurring quarterly work order. But in that case, a miss managed future work order could be affected and you wouldn’t know it because it’s several months in advance.

La Crews,

Just want to confirm if you are referring to recurring work order / activity? How to add the series, when are they updated, the difference between a one time work order/ activity vs. a recurring work order/ activity. Please feel free to add more details so we don't cover something else by mistake. We appreciate your feedback.

Scenario: Interacting with the insert grid. Editing a series. Editing a single activity in a series. Deleting a single activity in a series. The different symbols that show in the calendar view. Etc.

We believe they would be even better if you were involved in coming up with the webinar topics, so it's time for you to tell us what you would like us to cover in future webinars. You are probably working on a customization of your own, and might be stuck or unsure as to how certain screens work in Method, so let us know and we'll review all suggestions. Topic: Hide / Show Tab Section action

Scenario: User logs in and views the Opportunity screen. If he/she is not assigned to a selected Opportunity, then you want to hide the Estimate Tab section. How do up you hide the Estimate tab section based on assigned Rep?
