&lt;p&gt;You can set the estimate to be inactive on the estimate screen near the bottom of the screen. There is a checkbox that will allow you to set &lt;span id="mce_1_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;the estimate&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;active so if you uncheck it , it should help you with your conversion rate.&lt;span id="mce_3_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt; This applies to QuickBooks Desktop. If you are using QuickBooks Online then there is a drop down near the top called Status which you can use.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Is it possible to close a&amp;nbsp;estimate without deleting it? Not all of our quotes lead to sales and so we need the ability to close the quote&lt;span id="mce_0_start" style="overflow:hidden;"&gt;&lt;/span&gt; but not delete it for our records. In the past, we&amp;#39;ve gone ahead and deleted the quote... but obviously this isn&amp;#39;t good practice if we want to&amp;nbsp;figure out our&amp;nbsp;sales conversion rate.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can you please assist with this?&lt;/p&gt;
