I was able to get the video to work, I am currently looking into if this was by design or something we will be fixing. I will post here when I get an update.

Hey,

I tried to check that video out but it would not load, I got a message that there was an error on the website.

If you put it on YouTube, I can take a look. I think it's a great idea to pass over a video, smart thinking.

Hey,

I tried this out on my account and created a new user, when I clicked Save & Close, the contact info was updated correctly.

Have you customized this screen? also, what browser are you using?

I used the Sales Order tab and the Activities tab link. I selected an existing activity, and then clicked on "..." beside customer. After entering in the customer info and clicking Save & Close, the contact information updated.

Please let me know the steps you took if they are different at all.

Bug?

CRM Edition

On the Tab: Sales Center & Tab Link: Activities

When attempting to select a different contact for the activity by clicking on the Customer/Vendor 3 dot button, the Contact name, Contact phone, and Contact email is defaulting to the main contact.

If you use the same procedure for the add/edit pop-up screen, the proper information is updated.

Is this a bug or Is this something that requires individual customization?
