Conrad,

To use the calendar-recurrence object you’ll need to first make sure there’s a calendar object on the screen and the properties have been set up correctly, if one doesn’t exist go ahead and add one. By completing steps 1 through 7 of the calendar wizard you’ll notice it requires you to select the main table that will contain all your appointments, the fields for start and end time and the resources that appointments can be assigned to. Once the calendar is set up properly you should be able to add the recurrence object in. What’s important is that the recurrence object can only be added on a screen that has the calendar object created already. Technically, after this is done and the calendar wizard has finished you can choose to delete it.

There’s also a couple issues specific to the calendar object that we’ll be looking further into and keeping you posted if needed.

Recuring Dates

When I try to edit the recurring dates box I get the following message.

Please create a calendar for this table. Once a calendar is created for this table, you may set the properties for this recurring object.

Where do I create a calendar

I am only working on my method for a day and a galf but I am hugely impressed! Great job method people!
