With out having the Galaxy Tab on hand, I can't really say for certain, but if regular screens that aren't in a pop-up load correctly, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to create a custom screen that points to another screen containing that pop-up's content. Give it a try.

Another question, I noticed this happens anytime a popup screen happens, so I think it is just an issue with popups. Would I cause any issues in changing the action to goto a tablink to get to that screen rather than a Open screen in Popup action?

You can certainly give the "optimize for mobile device" option a try and see if it helps with the problem of blank screens. Although Method currently supports the iPhone, Android, Windows Mobile 6 operating systems for mobile phones, we would love to and intend on supporting the tablet devices in the future, however the immediate focus is to make improvements to the general desktop version of Method,

Cheers,
Denis

Loggin into full site using Samsung Galaxy Tab

Hello,

I am currently testing the Samsung Galaxy Tab while in the field. My main role in the company is to go out and bid jobs, give quotes, sign up new customers, take pictures of on site equipment, etc. The new Galaxy tab, so far, seems like the best choice to capture all of those elmements.

The Galaxy Tab is running the Android 2.2 OS. So far, I have been told, this is the only tab that is running a full html browser, unlike the ipad.

So, I am testing it using the full site login , not the mobile login. One thing I noticed is when I try to open the add/edit_workorder screen, it opens the screen but is blank. It never shows any sections or fields.

First question, if I check the box "optimize for mobile device" in the screen properties section, will that fix the problem? Or is that optimization feature only for the mobile login site?

Has anyone else experienced this and if so, do you know of a fix?

I havent played with customizng the mobile screens yet, so that is probably the best way to go, but I wanted to be able to log into the full site as well.

I saw some posts back in May from Paul about making the ipad experience better, just wondering if there is any new information about all of this.

Thanks
