&lt;p&gt;The 2nd class drop down that you created will not be visible to QuickBooks and only visible in Method which means you won&amp;#39;t be able to use Schedule Reports or QuickBooks reports to get information based on that drop down but if you create a Method Report you can use the information from that 2nd drop down. &lt;p&gt;Yes, you have the concept correct.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I am a bit lost on the reporting part as I have not worked extensively with the Report Designer and am completely unfamiliar with the&amp;nbsp;benefits of getting Scheduled Reports&lt;/p&gt;

Just to clarify let&amp;#39;s say you are working on an invoice, you
would assign it a class in the class drop down list but also have a second drop
down list with additional class options(a 2nd class) based on what was selected for the
class? Are you going to be using QuickBooks Scheduled Report for the P&amp;amp;L
report or creating a Method report&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;
