We are constantly working to improve the speed of the platform as we move forward. While this specific improvement is behind us, please rest assured that we continue to look into ways to improve speed and overall efficiency.

…so here we are a month later…you noticed didn’t you?! All bets are on that when you logged into Method this morning there was THREE TIMES the excitement and buzz. Three times the excitement because as of today you’ll be tripling your efficiency like you asked for. I’m all smiles too because I was born on the 3rd so three is my favorite number.

Not only did we take our user feedback to make Method faster, we have unleashed a series of other updates that take Method far beyond just speed. I’ve been pretty excited all day so I’m going to ask that you read about this through our blog entry if you haven’t already done so.

Method be nimble, Method be quick, Method jumps...

Glad to hear that Method is providing you with an effective and viable solution for your business needs. That is music to our ears! Thanks so much for accolades. It just proves to us that we're on the right track.

We are always working on improving the speed of the application. We are working on some changes now that will dramatically increase the speed of loading pages. One thing that I should note here is that you should be able to flip between pages that have already been loaded initially with next to no delay at all since the data is cached by your browser. If you are experiencing delays in flipping between cached pages, then you may want to check your browser settings, take a look at the add-ons that are installed on your computer, etc. On the flip side, if you’re publishing changes to a page or loading it initially, then yes, there will be a delay as the information is relayed via the server. Again this is where we are focusing our efforts to speed things up.

Many users that we talk to say that FireFox works better for them. While we still have a few aesthetic issues preventing us from saying that we fully support FireFox, feel free to give that a try to see if it works faster for you. Most things work just fine with FireFox, but if you’re going to be doing any customization work, we still recommend using Internet Explorer. On the flip side, some users say that there’s a strange lag that comes along with FireFox. We’ve noticed it here too, but it’s not just a lag on the Method site, it’s when we’re browsing any web page with FireFox. We’re looking into it now to see if we can figure out what’s going on and we'll relay the information to you once we figure it out.

Either way, the speed is only going to increase from here. And customizations that you’ve done should have no bearing on the overall speed of the application. Just hang in there and you’ll be tripling your efficiency in no time!

I NEED MORE SPEED

First and foremost, I am loving this product! Our efficiency has doubled, our communication between employee, customers, and vendors (across the country) is unbeleivable, and the tracking of POs, estimates, work orders, vendors, customers... tells me exactly where we are as a company and it makes me very happy :). And even better, I and my team (again across the country) can access data from QB from anywhere, anytime.

However...

Our efficiency could triple if the application was faster.

Is there something in the works to make the application faster? It is very frustrating that "I" can type faster than the app. I have to stop typing just for the system to keep up. And, clicking between screen is slow.

I have not done "a lot" of customization, but can I cause the slowness due to my design?
