When an account is created using the Contacts Portal it is stored in the Contacts table. The fields are called PortalUserName and PortalPassword. If you edit the Contacts screen you can add both those fields to the screen. The Contacts screen is the screen that is displayed when you click on Add/Edit All Contacts from the Customer List screen.

However, the data doesn't appear in the "username" or "password" field on the customer tab when an administrator goes to look to see what it is.

Do I need to set some functions on the customer tab additional information screen in order for the username and password data to appear in the field?

The reason I ask, is because I have had customers who have problems creating an account or loggin in and I can't help them by seeing if an account was created or what thier username or password is if they did create an account.

Thanks,

Matt
