Hi John,

I haven't been able to duplicate this. When you come out of hibernation can you still disconnect the engine or do you get this message after disconnecting?

Greetings,

Method downloaded a update to the Method sync engine yesterday. Now i cant get Quickbooks to exit. The sync engine will shut down but quick books is saying that the syce engine is using it. I left the computer on for 6 hours, so it went into hybernation mode. you think quick books dosent like the hybernation mode?

I got a download from the syc engine about a week ago. I tried to dupiclate the same issue again. Looks like its fixed. Great job! thanks

What happens is the sync engine window appears but it will not let me do anything. The only way of stopping it is to do a ctrl-alt-delete and shut it down that way. from there i have to do a ctrl-alt-delete on quickbooks to shut it down as well.

I stopped the windows screen saver as a test, left the lap top on for a few hours came back and its doing the same thing. This time the computer went into hybernation mode. This time the sync engine had a message about shutting down I had to press OK then it went away. I could not exit out of quickbooks. It was saying a computer program is using it.

Have you tried disconnecting the sync engine and then closing QuickBooks?

Greetings.

I am using windows XP with all the updated files. I am using quickbooks 2009. When I leave the computer alone for more than 15 mins the standard windoes screen saver starts. If i have quickbooks and the intergration engine working while this screen saver starts, intergration engine locks up. I then cant exit out of quickbooks becasue it thinks the intergration engine is still running.

Possible bug? or should i leave my screen saver off?

Other than that it works great.
