Michele- I just tested it myself to make sure I didn't point you in the wrong direction and it worked for me. After adding the linked field to the BillLineItem's table I just edited the grid for BillLineItem and changed the filters on the Item drop down field to only show items that have a PrefVendor that is equal to User - Employee / Vendor Full name.

Hi m.ball,

First you would need to add the Preferred Vendor as a linked field into the BillLineItem table using Item, once that is done you should be able to filter the Item drop down in the grid by Preferred Vendor based on the user that is logged in.

Filtering items on vendor bill

I am trying to filter the item list on a vendor bill to just reflect the vendor that is logged in, which is also the Preferred Vendor on the Service Item list. Any ideas? I've been able to filter the Vendor list to only be the the vendor logged in, and I was able to filter the bills seen to only be the vendor logged in, but I can't get this one.
