You have since finished testing and are ready to use your &#39;real server&#39; for Method. The one problem is that your &#39;server&#39; is not your laptop. No Problem!</span></p> <p><strong><i><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">WARNNING : You must be using the same company file, if it is a different file then you must register for a new Method account.</span></i></strong><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;"></span></p> <p><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">Start by logging into method on the &quot;test&#39; machine, Select the Quick Books tab.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">1, Click Reset, beside &quot;Computer to sync with&quot; </span></p> <p><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">2, If the <strong><i><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;">Company file name</span></i></strong><em><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;"> </span></em>is different on&nbsp;your&nbsp;new &#39;server&#39;&nbsp;then click Reset beside &quot;QuickBooks File&quot;</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">3, Open QuickBooks on the PC you wish to have as the new &#39;server&#39;</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">4,&nbsp; Log into Method on your &#39;server&#39; and go to the Quick&nbsp;Books tab</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">5, Click sync now beside &quot;Full Synchronization&quot;</span></p> <p><span style="font-family:&#39;Arial&#39;,&#39;sans-serif&#39;;color:black;font-size:10pt;">This will then start a full sync with the Method servers and cause this machine to become the new &#39;server&#39;.
