Method allows you to add multiple contacts under one account but these contacts only really come into play with CRM features and not transactions. They would still have to be seperate customers to be able to create a tranasction for them, but in Method you could potentially create field to denote that Mark is Part of Legacy Financial and based on that using filters show or hide him from the customer list and have him displayed under Legacy Financial.

NOW:

Legacy Financial - Mark

Legacy Financial - John

Legacy Financial - Joe

WANT IT

Legacy Financial - Company

Mark, John and Joe - Contacts

There are only 9 Companies that I need to change, just not sure how.

Re: Merge Companies?

Shawn-

I believe you are with QBO if thats the case my previous comment was incorrect since it only applies to QuickBooks Desktop, currently QBO doesn't give us a proper way to display sub accounts of Customers. We are waiting on an update from Inuit for this.

Method displays every sub account as a customer but they are still sub accounts it will display as follows Main Account:Sub Account. Through customization you could display it differently for example filter the Customer List to only show accounts whose ParentFullName is blank and then on the Edit Customer screen add a new grid to show the sub accounts.
