I'm glad to hear that you got this to work and thanks for giving us the steps. This is the first time we have come across this particular issue, I will create a solution for this and add it to our up coming knowledge base.

TaDa!! Works on both computers now. Seems to me someone should find a better work-around instead of all this messing around. What do you think, Michael??

I think I'm getting on top of it now. It takes a combination of disabling the firewall and changing a setting in "Internet Options." I got my information from this link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms228998.aspx I went into "Internet Options" clicked on "Security" tab, then chose "Custom Level." Under "Custom Level", I set "Automatic prompting for file downloads" to "enable" and it worked. That was on my Win XP Home computer. I have yet to try it on the Windows 7 computer.

Alpheus-

I have seen this issue come up because of firewall/anti-virus software. Do you happen to have the same software installed on both computers? Try temporarily disabling the firewall/anti-virus software and try again.

When I try to install the method integration engine, it progresses to about 4 MB, then gives me the Error: Cannot Start Application. "Unable to retrieve application files. Files corrupt in deployment." Both Windows 7 Pro and XP Home are giving me this error. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
