Have you considered just building your own custom billing solution on Method's platform. It looks like with jBilling you'd still need to provide and manage your own server. This is all included with your Method subscription.

Has anyone tried API integration with jBilling?

My company has ruled out QuickBooks because it falls short as a subscription billing platform when the rules approach telecom complexity - prorate first month charges, prorate last month credits, roll up subaccount charges/credits in an N-level customer hierarchy, bill the customer once per the product's/service's cycle (week, month, quarter, year, once only)

jBilling supports that type of billing and that customer hierarchy. It comes in several editions including free. But, to get the customer self-serve portal, one must buy the $12,000 USD per year edition.

Method could fill the customer portal requirement nicely plus add useful CRM capabilities.

Any chance anyone has heard of Method + jBilling integration? If not, anybody think it's advisable?
