Hi Mike,

Do you have any antivirus or firewall software running? If so please disable this and try to run the installer again - please post back if this fixes it for you.

Would it be possible for you to send in that log file to c.ridgway@methodintegration.com. If you can please try to download and install the plugin again but from another browser.

I have tried to install this version and earlier versions and get the same error. The details are:

An error occurred trying to download 'https://www.methodintegration.com/MethodOutlookAddIn/Web/OutlookMethodSync.vsto'.

See the setup log file located at 'C:\Users\Mike\AppData\Local\Temp\VSDAD64.tmp\install.log' for more information.

I have set it as a trusted site on IE and run it as an administrator. Win 7-64bit machine.

Thank you for letting us know about this problem. Quick solution to this problem is to go to File->Options->Advanced->Developers section->Un-check Show add-in user interface errors option->Click OK.

Proper solution will be available for download soon.

Inserted screen caps are not saved. How should I send them?

They are long messages like

I installed Method Outlook Plug-In 2.0 v2.1.40 update (run as Administrator)

Win7 64 bit patched to current, Office 2010 SP1

I am getting these errors when starting Outlook and similar when doing various actions

I reinstalled serveral times and tried disableing all other add-ins with no improvement.
