The ability to hide lesser used apps on the Dashboard has already been requested as a feature, you can subscribe to this thread to be notified of any updates.

I've opened a ticket with our development team for this issue, I will keep you posted. Can I ask which browser you're using?

The padding on the dashboard when I login is like the second screenshot.

I double checked to make sure the screen I demonstrated did not have force refresh after navigation. I'm getting these results without that

Re: Dashboard refresh

Mahlon,

I'm assuming you're using a Go To Screen action with a Force Refresh After Navigation? What browser are you using? What's the spacing of the Dashboard look like when you initially log in?

- Justin

Dashboard refresh

As we begin using Method in production, I noticed something that should be improved on the dashboard refresh.

When closing a screen that takes you back to the dashboard, there is a proximately a 3-4 second delay before the dashboard refreshes. After the refresh all the apps shift to the right almost 3/8 of an inch. See my screenshots below.

During this time you might be selecting an icon on another app. If the timing isn't just right and you might think you are clicking let's say the Calendar, but really end up getting New.

This will likely become a nuisance and productivity issue with end-users.

Also, it would be really nice if there was a way to hide in frequently used apps such as classes, terms and accounts.
