Request: GPS Coordinates

Please can Method add GPS coordinates from the app, sooner than later? I see the fields are already present in some of the tables.

We are hoping to go paperless with our mobile staff by the spring and would love GPS logging capabilities. We've been looking at other field service apps and almost everyone else already has the capability. Fortunately we always circle back to Method after looking around as Method can do things no one else can, but are a little jealous of the others right now.

(also, please update the app!! it hasn't been updated since March. still have the android map issue!!)

Google Maps App???

Hi all,

In the browser version of Method, when I click on an address it opens the Google Maps App. When using the Method App, clicking on an address opens a Google Map in the browser, but doesn't open the Google Maps App. Without the Google Maps App running you can not do navigation as the browser version won't access your location.

Is there a solution or workaround for this?

How to customize Order of screens on dashboard

In Method New, can we change the order of the screens on the dashboard? I can't seem to find where that is done. Thanks!

After download and install

After the download and install I opened the app and it indicates No Internet Connection.

I turned my wifi off and was able to logon

Once logged on... in Contacts if I flip my iPhone on it's side I can't scroll all the way to the bottom of the screen.

I logged out and it did not retain my login info

I turned the wifi back on and again was unable to use it because of No Internet Commection

iPad

Hey,

On the desktop application, when I go to settings / customize screen and edit the columns, there are 2 options to hide the columns: On Load and On Phone. Is there a way that we can have the iPad and tablets be on the "On Phone" and not "On Load" since it is a smaller screen?

Also, on the iPad, when I click the dashboard on the left side, I have to click something to make that go aways. Can we make it so that we can click in a blank area and the dashboard goes back? Make sense?

Very nice! A few comments: (you knew I'd have them)

If I try to start it with the wifi on, I get a message saying No Internet access. Turning off the wireless on my phone, the app loads? Never seen this behavior before in an app. (I double-checked my wireless by turning off cell access and checking other aps; no issue)

I can turn the wifi back on after I’ve launched the app, but then it gives me that message again if I try to switch companies.

It consistently asks me if I’ve changed time zones, telling me my last log in was EST
When first launching, the screen to choose the account is squished up on the left side, then resolves normally. Disconcerting when it takes more than a second.
I like that if I close the app, it resumes right where I was.
I like that it doesn’t kick me out of being logged into the account on my computer.

I was supposed to have received an invitation to join HockeyApp, but I gotten one or heard back from Kaitlin.

Unable to Download App

I got the invitation for the mobile app. I registered, then tried downloading the IOS app.

I get a message Unable to Download App. Method could not be installed at this time.

It gives me the option to retry, but this produces the same error.
